3-3-03 - After waiting and waiting for the lights to come, I gave up and ordered them from somewhere else! Here are the final pictures, I shipped these out today to a customer.

2-4-03 - Well, I'm pretty much all finished!! Here are some pictures. There would of course be a final layering and sanding and painting to make everything perfect.

Don't mind the door or fender! =) A little fiberglass never hurt anyone!

You can see where it needs a final sanding
and some filling.

This shows the double light. But since I have only a pair of lights, one for each side is what I have now. I'll just make another shroud tomorrow for my pair.

Edges need a little cleaning up.

I'm ready to start selling these kits if people want them.

PRICING:

Lights: $140 for the pair, or if you can find them cheaper, send me there! =)
Housing, Shroud, Arm, and Detailed Instructions: $130 for the pair.

Angel Eyes are coming soon!

Total: $270

How fast you get them depends on how many people want them. But I've made all the molds and now know how to do everything pretty efficiently!

1-30-03 - Here are some newer pictures that I took today. I fiddled with the shroud and it's acutally looking a lot beter than I thought. Now I'm just adding some extra fiberglass to make the "lip" up to the top of the light (the metal part which is flush with the hood).

Side shot

Right quarter shot

Left quarter shot. See the red there? Thats the part the "lip" will have to cover

Top front shot

Light shot. Right below the arrow is a patch of white, that is the light.

Here's a closeup. Notice the red line there? Thats the metal that needs to be covered. And as for the fiberglass texture that can be seen, that will be sanded down, unless of course, sombody wants it like that. I thought about it, but I'm going to sand down to see what it looks like as well.

Another shot of the spot where there needs to be a "lip".

Another very obvious picture of the metal which needs to be covered.

1-26-03 - Here's a few pictures of the lights. I'm still working on them. I have to get the holes cut right for the lights and then put the finishing touches on so everything looks good. I'm putting some thin metal on the edges to make them clean.

Side Shot

Kinda side shot with no shroud, just the base

unpainted, uncut base, this is what it looks like at the begining.

Base with lights but no shroud.

Front shot

Front shot again

The shroud still has to be cut and fitted to the lights. The white stuff is just fiberglass dust from cutting and sanding. Eventually the shroud will be fitted around the lights and pushed back some to line up with everything. I'm thinking of adding an "Angel Eye" effect, but it would be only for show since you wouldn't see it when the lights are down and the lights would be too bright to see when up! But they would be extra.
